4th of July BBQ Ride

By Devin Strecker

June 27, 2014

What could be more American than riding horseback, having a barbecue with singing cowboys, and watching fireworks going off in the sky above the west coast?  Sunset Ranch, 3400 N. Beachwood Dr., will be celebrating independence day old-west style with two-hour evening rides to Mount Hollywood on July 4, with 360-degree views of Los Angeles with a great view of the Hollywood sign, followed by food and entertainment (BYOB).

Rides will be offered at 4:00, 4:30 and 5:00 p.m. with the barbecue starting at 7:00 p.m.  Tickets run $95 for the package.  If you just want to join for the BBQ, tickets are $25 per person.

If you can’t make it on independence day, never fear: BBQ tours are offered the third Saturday of each month!  There are also deals to be had with Friday Night Retro Rates (first come, first served dinner rides for $70; night Mt. Hollywood rides for $60).  Right now, there’s also a special over at Groupon.
