Here Comes Santa Claus!

Everyone’s favorite holiday tradition, the Hollywood Christmas Parade, will be taking place again on Sunday, November 30th at 5pm. The parade, which is celebrating its 82nd anniversary, will start at Hollywood Blvd at Orange, and then follow a U-shaped parade route, traveling east to Vine, south on Vine to Sunset Boulevard and west on Sunset, back to Orange.

The first national telecast of the parade will air on the Hallmark Channel, followed by another national telecast on the Hallmark Movie Channel. Locally it will be aired on KTLA-TV (date and time to be announced). Tickets for the event are available at Grandstand seating is reserved and is located on both sides of Hollywood Boulevard from the start of the parade. These seats range from $85-$45 or free curbside viewing is available along the majority of the parade route. Group discounts are also available for groups of 25 or more.

Grand Marshal for the night is the one and only Stevie Wonder. Parade co-hosts are everyone’s favorite CHP officer, Erik Estrada and travel personality Laura McKenzie. And special celebrity hosts are Dean Cain and Montel Williams. Riding in the parade will be such well-known figures as Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Oscar de la Hoya, George Thorogood, SYTYCD’s Nigel Lythgoe, Mark McGrath, and of course, Santa. They’ll be joined by some of the country’s most accomplished marching bands, a host of adorable characters, and all kinds of equestrian attractions including the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales from St. Louis, MO, the Wells Fargo Stagecoach and others.

Grandstand ticket holders will have access to a fantastic pre-parade concert starring Stevie Wonder. Also scheduled to perform are the legendary Earth, Wind & Fire, Grammy nominees and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Ann and Nancy Wilson, celebrated American rock icon Richie Sambora, actress/singer Rita Wilson, Grammy Award-winning artist Estelle (American Boy), ‘80s sensation Taylor Dayne, actor and singer Jesse McCartney, singer/choreographer, Mark Ballas, singer/songwriter Oranthi, and Los Angeles-based rockers, RS.
