Dream Hotel is Coming to Hollywood

October 24, 2016

The Dream Hotel Group has created iconic hotels in destinations like New York City, Miami, and Bangkok. Now the brand is expanding to Hollywood, with a completely new building currently under construction at Selma Ave. and Cahuenga Blvd. (Hollywood is currently experiencing a hotel boom.) Dream Hotel Group’s chief development officer, David Kuperberg, was recently interviewed about the new Hollywood location by The Real Deal. The interview reveals that the property will include an alley installation with cobblestones; a rooftop with a pool, all-day dining restaurant, a lounge and a nightclub; and a Tao restaurant on the ground level. Here are some of Kuperberg’s quotes from the interview

  • “Someone could come stay with us and never have to leave the premises. They can go to our food and beverage outlets, to our club and bars, and then for late night pizza and never have to leave the hotel.”
  • “[The Alley] runs along the side next to our hotel and will be [open] all day and night, when it will look like a bazaar and feel like a whole separate neighborhood.”
  • “All of our parking will be off-site except for what’s under Tao.  It’s something that was a concern from day one. Originally the city was [requesting we use] the second floor for parking, but we were able to move the parking offsite.”
