“Oh, Hello!”

March 18, 2016

Fans of Kroll Show, which aired on Comedy Central from 2013-15, will recognize the names Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland. The two crotchety old men, portrayed by Nick Kroll and John Mulaney, featured as part of Kroll Show with their hidden camera prank show, “Too Much Tuna,” wherein they would get a huge kick out of seeing a mammoth pile of tuna stuck between two slices of bread delivered to their unsuspecting “victims.” However, the target never seemed to react sufficiently for the duo, thus making the prank fall flat.

So how can the two stars draw out this sketch into a full-blown stage production? Apparently, with a plot about two roommates in New York who lose their rent control status and must figure out a way to stay in the city. And according to the New York Times, it’s a hoot!

The Los Angeles production of “Oh, Hello” arrives at The Montalbán Theatre in Hollywood after a sold out off-Broadway run. The show runs March 30 through April 3.
